Goa..!!!! Enjoy the unplugged Life :)

Surf. Sand. Sun. These are the three words that come to your mind when you say Goa. Goa is a fun place, ideal for beach bums, romantic couples and families with kids who love the outdoors. Some people come just to soak up the sun. Some, just to break away from their busy ‘all work & no play’ lives and recharge themselves at a beautiful resort.

But for those who believe ‘to experience is to explore’, there’s something new to do everyday – be it discovering different beaches, fishing, water sports, dolphin-watching, or visiting heritage churches, temples or forts. For those who like to party there is always plenty of live action on! And if you are a flea market junkie, be prepared to go home with excess luggage! Should you just want to hang up your shoes and dig into the sand, you are most welcome to – the Goans have a special word for it: Susegado. Basically, chill out, relax, take it easy. Welcome to Goaaaaaaah!
Special/unknown/discovered facts or chilling out places:
There are many and they fall between the well known and the well kept secrets. Depends on what you love.
i)  Food & Fishing: Amigos (under the Nerul bridge) – for a river fishing/crab catching trip – your fresh catch will be cooked and served to you back at the shack. Needless to say, her cooking is legendary.

ii)  Family Beach Lunch Outing: Zeebop by the Sea, Utorda – this is the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon with the entire family. The beach is flat. The shack is interesting. The seafood enjoyable. Book a table in advance and be sure to reach before noon.
One can go on and on, but the fun is in discovering all that you can do, once you get there. Local cabbies and hotels are more than happy to fill you in.
Goa is more than drinking, binging, night clubbing. It’s about a peaceful co-existence, where you can sit under a thousand stars on a moonlight night and protect the famed Ridley Turtles as they hatch and make their presence felt. There is a friendly trust and camaraderie among Goans and you will feel part of the family. Take care to reciprocate the trust and take care to watch out for the bad fish and avoid late nights with strangers.
